Woman Tests Positive for Zika Virus in Chicago, Becomes Illinois' 5th Case

A Philadelphia woman who recently returned from a trip to the Caribbean has the first confirmed case of Zika virus in the city, health officials said on Monday. NBC 5’s Christian Farr reports. Five says the woman traveled to Colombia in late January and was treated for what appeared to be a viral infection. Williams said according to the information available, the three Pacific states where Zika virus infections were now occurring were Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga. “Only about 1 in 5 people infected with Zika virus become ill”, Williams said.
